"The distortion of human body parts has become a tool that I use to translate my understanding of queer experiences and identity formation. With these paintings, I aim to captivate and confuse the viewer simultaneously. They are meant to be seen, but they do not need to be understood. The subjects that I paint are representations of internal tension, of hope, of queerness."
