These pieces are apart of an ongoing exploration of how we perceive sensory input. By removing recognizable elements, these are meant to question how little information is required in order to categorize what we are seeing into a familiar category, like a "landscape".

By removing focal points, changing the orientation or colour palette, each of these pieces relies on the viewer filling in the blanks in order to perceive the scene.
